January Trial!

We were blessed with unseasonably GORGEOUS weather for our January trial. Since we are in an unheated horse arena this is unbelievably appreciated. It was sunny and breaking into the 60s each day. There were a lot of smiling faces, human and doggie, to be seen.

Suz once again masterminded the Roadkill Cafe. Crockpots lined up like soldiers, each one filled with some hot, delicious goodies. We all ate well and enjoyed sampling new dishes and some old favorites. There were lots of desserts and and even breakfast sandwiches made to order each morning. We are so spoiled!

We had some big debuts at this trial. Priscilla Warnock and baby Robey made their big leap into competition, entering a few classes and looking great! They even earned their first Q!!

We all had a blast running on some fun courses brought to us by Ben Philibert, one of our favorite judges. He comes out to judge this trial every year and we are always happy to see his smiling face. Some of our members had some real success out there, leading to a first for high in trial. We are so proud of them! Congrats to:

This is the first time any one handler has taken HIT with 2 different dogs!! Way to go Deb! And way to go Anne and Nelle who are really starting to gel as a team and it shows in your results.

It was a ton of fun, we will see everyone soon for our March trial. Here's hoping we don't have snow!

PZ scores big at ITZ!

The last In the Zone trial of the year was a blast! There were almost 500 runs on Saturday, but we got it done and had such a fun time. As always, there was food, music and great friends to share it with. Judge Don Cuda brought a big smile as always and some really fun courses. Team PZ had a good showing and achieved some big milestones over the weekend. Huge congrats go out to:

Leanne Lohmeyer and Cody - Triple-Triple Superior!! Cody is the first born-deaf dog to achieve this feat!!!

After months of rehab Bailey Brown made his return to competition with a very happy Debbie running alongside him!

And after 7 months off from agility following an injury, Mojo Bailey made his big comeback to the ring. He never missed a beat, and both he and Nicole could not stop beaming the whole weekend long.

Thanks so much to Lisa and Dwayne for the great trials you put on all year long. Here's to an even better 2012!!

NADAC Champs 2011!

A strong contingent of PZ family and friends made the trip to Springfield, Illinois to participate in the 2011 NADAC Championships. Representing our club was Paula Goss with Trae, Pat Moloney-Harmon with Aja and Beckham, Tom Moloney-Harmon with Maddie and Piper, Jean Wilkins with Kopper and Zephyr, Charlotte Idleman with Raven, Priscilla Warnock with Lefty, Beth Strother with Phantom, Val Embrey with Chloe, Leanne Lohmeyer with Sydney and Cody, Judy Whitbred with Rocky, and Sam Lietz with Schatzi.

It was an amazing week, starting with Pre Champs early in the week, including the Extreme Games Challenge Championships which Val with Chloe and Jean with Kopper and Zephyr competed. Both ladies came in 2nd place in their respective divisions!! Then Championships began and so many beautiful runs on challenging courses. The East Coast was very well represented and put on quite a strong showing throughout the week. All of us who stayed at home cheered everyone on from the live feed, many of us spending hours watching our friends and not so much time devoted to work!

January Trial!

Thanks to all who attended and made our January trial a success! This was our 50th trial and it was a blast. Judge Nadia Barrett brought some tough, but fun courses and the dogs were running fast and having fun. We managed to sneak the trial in between some pretty yucky winter weather. We got very lucky with Mother Nature's timing this year. In spite of the snow outside and what quickly turned into a mud pit where some of us were parking, everyone was smiling and enjoying the chance to play with our dogs.

We all stayed warm and well fed thanks to Suz and her famous Roadkill Cafe. Crockpots lined up like soldiers filled with many different hot, savory dishes made by some of our club members and a few others as well.

Terry and Debi were fostering a litter of puppies so they came to the trial as well. Such a cute little group, there was no shortage of helping hands to take them to potty, socialize or just plain snuggle them and keep them warm. These guys got to see a lot of different things in a very short period of time. What a great way to get a puppy fix! They have since gone back to Howard County Animal Control and will be adopted into new homes, very quickly no doubt!

Platinum Speed Star Mojo!!

With the release of the newest trial results it has been confirmed that Nicole and Mojo Bailey earned their Platinum Speed Star with 2 speedy Jumpers runs at the PAWZAZZ trial in October. Nicole has been chasing this award for quite some time so it was an extra special treat to earn it with her heart dog and at her own club's trial. Thanks to Judge Dwayne Bonker for bringing fast and fun courses and for judging Mojo to this milestone! Mojo is the first Doberman to have achieved this feat and he did it at 8 1/2 years young.

Tails Up!

A small but mighty PZ contingent made the trip down to Chesapeake, VA to play at Tails Up. Scott and Diana and Chris all travel up North to visit us so often so we try and get down to their trials as much as we can.

This trial is held on a great site, lots of flat ground, lighting, plenty of room to exercise dogs. And most importantly WONDERFUL hospitality! We enjoyed Yappy Hour after the trial on Saturday, which included tons of great food and a fire pit to keep us all warm and Rob Schombert entertained!

Saturday was Nicole Bailey's birthday, so some cake was to be had and even a visit by KISS was arranged! Needless to say, the squeeing could be heard for miles around...

October Trial!

We had perfect agility weather for our October trial! The weather Gods must have wanted to make amends for the monsoon/mudfest they presented us with in 2009. They couldn't have picked better weather to run dogs!

There is no Roadkill Cafe at this trial, but what would a trial be without NATCH cake?? We had a huge one to celebrate a few recent PZ NATCHes from Priscilla and Lefty (NATCH-3 at CIA), Lynn Sipe and Asher (NATCH-4/Versatility NATCH-4 at CIA) and Jean Wilkins and Kopper (NATCH-12/Versatility NATCH-12 at the NADAC Championships!)

Thanks to the tireless efforts of Pat Moloney-Harmon and her many raffle elves the annual raffle extravaganza was again a hit!

As usual Deb Baracco won at least half of the baskets. Not sure what her secret is, but we will be watching her closely... Thanks to everyone who participated, either by donating items to be raffled, assembling baskets, hauling baskets or buying tickets and taking those beautiful baskets home! We made a big step toward some new equipment for PZ.

There were many smiling faces and some gorgeous runs! The dogs are so happy it's Fall again. We got to cheer big debuts by Bonnie Woodall and her Pug Nera and Diana Deadrick-Casino and her Collie Chesnee. Both teams looked great out there!

July Night Trial!

We were blessed with the best kind of weather imaginable for our night trial! After over a month of sweltering, humid, downright dangerous heat it was so refreshing to have two nights in a row starting in the 80s and then dropping from there. Some folks were even spotted with jackets on before the end of the night.

As usual, the Roadkill Cafe was going strong. Suz does an amazing job every time of running a smooth ship and the food is amazing and truly appreciated. She couldn't do it without her trusty grillmasters Mike and Geoff who keep those grills cooking well into the night. It didn't look like there were any leftovers to be taken home so everyone was kept well fed.

Jim Nally is a wonderful judge, he brought some fun courses and a great sense of humor as we ran dogs and partied into the night.

AAA! June Trial

Huge congrats to Tom Moloney-Harmon and Piper for earning their NATCH-9 and Versatility NATCH-9 at the All About Animals trial in Dover, DE!!

PZers had a great time, in spite of the BRUTAL heat. In other big news, Gabe and Canon, Debi and Nicolette's babies made an impromptu debut on Sunday!! They turned 18 mos that day, and upon finding out their litter brother Power would be debuting Sunday a spur of the moment decision was made for Nicolette to pick up Gabe and bring the boys up to all debut together! They were amazing! Gabe Q'd his very first run in Regular!! Canon brought home his very first Q as well, later in the day in Tunnelers. These boys are going to be a lot of fun to watch. Congrats to all on your accomplishments and your good decisions for your dogs in the heat. We certainly made the most of it!

Memorial Day Trial

Our May trial has come and gone. We had MUCH better weather this time around! If you'll remember our October trial in which we endured torrential rain, cold, snow and buckets of mud. We had some high temps but a steady breeze kept things blessedly bearable for everyone. The Sykesville Volunteer Fire Dept. was kind enough to fill our kiddie pool up both days to help keep the dogs running fast and happy. Thanks guys!

Patrick, the NADAC Rescue Corgi will make his big debut with PZ Pit Crew Ruth Houser at our October Trial!!

At In the Zone in May, our very own Paula Goss and Trae earned their last needed 20 pt Bonus Line in Jumpers to become members of the MODSQUAD (Master Of Distance, Speed, QUality And Discrimination) In order to accomplish this feat a team must achieve three 20 pt bonus runs in EACH class, one of each three must also be a 100+ Run Index. There are a prestigious few who hold this distinction and we are very proud of her!! To celebrate, Paula was gifted an edible bouquet. Just the thing on a hot, sunny day. It vanished in mere minutes it seemed!!

Val and Lindy have welcomed a new Sheltie puppy to their pack. He is officially known as Suntera Remington Steels Our Heart, Remi to his friends. Little Remi stole a lot of hearts as he visited his very first agility trial! This little dude is fearless and just marched around site like he owned the place! Keep an eye on this little pistol.

We had a pot luck cookout after the trial on Saturday that was a big success. The food was delicious and boy was there lots of it! :) Always nice to share a meal and a laugh with good friends when the hustle and bustle of the trial is over and we can all relax and enjoy our time together.

What a wild weekend! The PZ contingent that attended ITZ in Millersville was blessed with beautiful (some would say HOT) weather. A nice change from the blizzards and rain we've been enduring for months.

We tortured him throughout the weekend, but saved the best for Sunday his actual birthday. Gag gifts and a pinata were part of the festivities. Old man Casino is a good sport and endured all the ribbing with a smile all day long. Anne Beach was kind enough to video his pinata bashing for us.

Our March Trial!

Mother Nature made nice after all the terrible weather she's been throwing at us for our last couple of trials! After mudfest 2009 in October and a generous dumping of snow and frigid cold in January, we had a weekend of BEAUTIFUL, warm sunny weather for March!

Our judge Maureen Burke brought some challenging courses, but Team PZ looked great out there. Chances, in particular was a real doozie. Team after team bit the dust on a really hard course. In the end only Paula and Trae were able to make it through and they made it look EASY! Congrats to an awesome pair.

As usual Suz was working hard keeping everyone fed and happy with the Roadkill Cafe. Her breakfast sandwiches are to die for and the service is top notch! Proceeds from the RKC go toward our equipment fund and we are over halfway to a new set of 24" weaves so thanks everyone who contributed!

The Platinum Speed Star is an award that prizes speed and accuracy, you need to have 20 Regular runs with a 100+ DRI, and 10 in Jumpers, and also have 10 Chances. These teams are the embodiment of the skills that make NADAC such a great venue. We are very proud to have TEN teams in PAWZAZZ to have achieved this feat!! Many of them have multiple Speed Stars to their credit. Tebi was nice enough to purchase some beautiful ribbons to mark their achievement. Congratulations to:

Our January Trial!

We made it through! We were missing Debi terribly, she had to teach a seminar and we did our best to hold down the PZ fort without her. Mother nature threw us a curveball by turning her "dusting of snow" into 6+ inches on Saturday. Those that braved the entire day ended up canceling hoopers and leaving early. In spite of the weather, there were lots of smiles, great food courtesy of the Road Kill Cafe and some killer runs! Totally worth the chaos of driving home on completely unplowed roads and then coming back on Sunday morning to do it all again! Agility addicts for sure! Our judge, Ben Philibert was nice enough to check with NADAC and squeeze in Hoopers as an extra class at the end of the day on Sunday so we all got our runs in which was fantastic.

There were MANY accomplishments at this trial. Some, very long awaited sweet victories that were a joy to behold. Thanks to Priscilla Warnock for the photos!

Canine Kinship - State College, PA, January 15-17

What a great weekend at Canine Kinship! It is well worth the drive to State College to experience this trial. It is a great club, Vickie and Curt Vander Vere are two of the coolest folks you'll ever meet and the facility is top notch. It is a heated building, though always cold enough to make the dogs run FAST! And the surface is the best around. Dogs really seem to giggle when running on it, and they ZOOM! Add to that judge Ron Young, one of the best NADAC judges around. Such a cool guy, totally laid back and fun. He was even nice enough to demonstrate his Vulcan neck pinch on Lisa Bonker, dropped her like a stone! Won't be messing with that guy anytime soon.

We have developed some routines after attending this trial for several years now, one of which is partaking in the warm, buttery bliss that is GRILLED STICKIES!!! We missed Archie this year, he is a main supporter of Team PZ and provider of all things yummy. He always picks up a batch for us each morning. Luckily Dwayne Bonker was there to answer the call and delivered a huge stack of boxes full of the little cinnamon temptations.... And there was much rejoicing! The pick-me-up was definitely appreciated on Sunday to lift our spirits after a painful Ravens loss against the Colts the night before.

Grilled stickies weren't the only sweets around at this trial however. Pat managed to find a vendor, even at this small trial. Morgan Merriman was set up selling Girl Scout cookies all weekend. Pat bought so many boxes from her, she earned her Advanced Sales and Marketing Patch!!!

We also had DELICOUS carrot cake in honor of the indomitable Miss Maddie, who turned 12 on Saturday!! There is not a person in NADAC who hasn't heard of Maddie and rightly so, she is a force of nature. She gave Tom a little present of her own by earning her NATCH-21 on Sunday!

Lisa Bonker has invited her newest puppy into her pack, she picked him up the day before the trial started! His name is Tandem, he is the coolest dude in town. It was great to meet him and spend some time getting our fix of puppy breath. This little guy fears nothing and gives the best smooches.

The older puppies had a blast as well, Tessie and Jinn spent a good portion of each day running each other to exhaustion to help keep their mommies sane! They are the same size and are totally BFF right now. Tess was even nice enough to teach Jinn the Doberman how to herd. She was doing a great job herding Tess all over the field.

Also of note, we have accepted a new member into the Twilight fold. Priscilla was burning through the books all during the trial and watched the first movie while in State College as well. Welcome to the madness!!

All of this sugar and vampires must have been a potent combination, because PAWZAZZ was on FIRE! So many accomplishments from such a small group of folks:

PAWZAZZ slogs through!

We want to thank everyone who came to our trial this past weekend and ran who worked so hard.

This was the most singularly miserable weekend we have ever experienced as a trial giving group. The only weather condition that didn't happen was warm. It didn't rain, it poured. Then, it drizzled. Then, overnight, it snowed. Finally, the wet stopped but the wind came up. YUK!

What is all this stuff??

For many years, we have somehow managed to squeak trials in between rain storms; ice storms; snowstorms; heatwaves and such and have avoided being slammed. We've kept quiet lest the little bad weather gods notice us and focus their skills upon us. I think they finally noticed.

Our very courageous judge, Randy hand, kept his word and constantly checked and re-checked safety factors, luckily always being able to decide that although it was "miserable" it was safe. He went above and beyond the call of duty, changing a flat tire on my car on the way home from dinner on Saturday night! Thanks Randy!

So many good choices were made about whether or not to run dogs. More dogs were pulled than ran BUT the ones that ran did so with style and were obviously having a blast in the rain and yuk. On Sunday, when things cleared up in the afternoon, it was great to see many more dogs on course.

Thanks to all who chose not to run but who stayed and made it all work!

We moved the ring twice to drier (well, less muddy) ground; learned a LOT about what raingear works and what doesn't (I imagine the letters to L.L. Bean, Cabela and others will begin to go out today); learned which dogs are mudders and which aren't; learned that Nelson Hardy can get muddy; learned that Tom Moloney Harmon can set courses in any weather AND make excellent
choices about changing running order to keep things safe; learned that raincoats dripping on computer keyboards probably isn't a good idea; learned that even in the WORST weather people will still flock to the raffle drawings (thanks so much Pat for doing that!); and once again learned that agility people are priceless.

Huge Congratulations to Patty Kimball and her little bullet Kori on earning the Brother Vincent Spirit of Agility Award at the Canine Kinship Trial. Patty and Kori really do embody everything that the award is about, their relationship is inspiring. And watching them lay down a clean run is always breathtaking!

Lots of great runs, PZ handlers had a fantastic time at a phenomenally beautiful site with great hiking for humans and dogs, good food and always great company. It is sad that this was to be the last trial at Animal Cracker Farm. It is a wonderful place.

July Night Trial!

July 24^th and 25^th brought Pawzazz’s 43^rd NADAC trial – the annual July night trial. Things went off fairly smoothly despite humidity, a bit of thunder and lightning, and some plumbing woes! As always, PZers came out in force to work, run, play and laugh hard – not to mention finding a little time for the Electric Slide (which seems to be a little tricky in the dirt) and the YMCA dance!

Suze Sullivan once again did a wonderful job organizing The Road Kill Café. Big thanks to her as well as grill masters Mike Barracco and Josh Bailey. Everyone brought delicious salads, side dishes and desserts …. Charlotte Idleman’s potato salad is a fan favorite!

A warm welcome to Angela and Brian Cooley and their can’t-wait-to-be-trialing Border Collie, Princess. They came out to watch their first trial and worked hard both nights.

Good friends, good music, good weather – just good times once again in Ellicott City!

We were delighted that there was no rain and some gentle breezes unlike the weather at other recent trials. It was still a bit too hot for some dogs and handlers but, as always, PZers made good decisions in the best interest of their dogs and their own health. We missed those who had to curtail their agility fun due to the toll the heat took on them. Terry kept us grooving all weekend long with a great selection of tunes and it was fun to see people singing and rocking to the beat.

The crowd gave a big round of applause for the debut of the newbie team of Louise Campbell-Brown and Kismet. Louise has been learning her lessons well from her PZ instructor as she fixed at least one start line “stay” and Kismet nailed those important 2o2o contacts! It was a very impressive debut with a first Q earned as well. We welcome Louise and Kismet to the addictive world of agility competition!

Anne Beach and Pearl returned to the ring after Pearl had been on the injured reserve list….and Pearl looked very happy about it!

Some substitute handlers gave spectators quite show: Paula ran with little Andy and also took a turn driving Jig “The Big Rig” around the ring. In Tunnelers, Jean showed Debi how to get a solid start line “stay” from Chime and also proved that the true “Queen of Not Quiet” isn’t Bracey, but Sheila! Pat Maloney-Harmon also had fun with Meg while Jane sat on the sideline with her handsome new Aussie, Sprint. Maybe we’ll see him in the agility ring in the future.

Big Brags from In the Zone!

Mother Nature may have ordered up a chilly, wet weekend but under the big top on Ski Lane there were heartwarming smiles and spirits weren't dampened in the least. There was a lot of fun during the 3 day (ok, 2-1/2 day) In the Zone trial on March 13th, 14th and 15th.

We missed one of our favorite trial secretaries, Lisa Bonker from ITZ because she was running another trial in IL. But Dwayne Bonker was there to judge the show and represent ITZ with his usual, entertaining style.

Team PZ pulled together, as always, and helped keep this trial moving right along. Tom Moloney-Harmon and Nelson Hardy kept the pace with quick course building while Nicole Bailey was queen of the keyboard keeping scores posted for the eager exhibitors all weekend. Paula Goss played ring princess and only had to take off her crown and crack her whip a few times to fill vacant volunteer seats.

"Newbies" Charlotte Idleman and Raven earned their Open Jumpers title ... wait, they aren't Newbies if they are in Open, huh?

Sandy Ziemski and Jig had some very nice runs ... I saw an amazing Jumpers run. Another baby dog that is already amazing us!

Katie Rash and Bella have been working hard on solid start-line stays and looked great this weekend.

We all missed Paulette Hardy but enjoyed watching Nelson keep up with running all the dogs himself and keeping them clean, too. How does he manage it?! Oh, and nice run with Luxx, too!

We were happy to have a visit from Anne Beach even though Pearl was on house arrest after wrestling with a raccoon. Gladly, Anne tells us that Pearl will be back at the next trial ... tell those raccoons to stay away!

Half-time entertainment was brought to us by BCW ... Border Collie Wrestlemania! Debi's puppy, Gabe, and his littermate, Nicolette Eaton's pup Canon, had a lot of fun in their double-wide ex-pen ... lots of wrestling, grr'ing and some serious napping! We all think the puppies grew a little taller between Saturday and Sunday!

We are also excited to hear that Diane Gilliam has a new puppy at home...Circe (pronounced sir-see, I believe). I know Roxie is teaching her all the right habits of a proper Rottie puppy. Can't wait to meet the new pup, Diane!

The 39th PAWZAZZ trial was fantastic! We were blessed with perfect agility weather, a little cold for the humans, but perfect for the dogs. It is always a treat to watch them the first time it's really crisp outdoors and they are just on fire!

We had judge Patty Leroy down from Calgary to join the fun. She brought some tough courses that bit a lot of us, but boy were they fun to run. She also brought good humor and good company... if loving Patty is wrong, we don't want to be right! ;)

Our annual Fall Raffle was bigger and better than it has ever been! PAWZAZZers go to Devil's Tower

Devil's Tower was terrific!! Weather was perfect; cool to start out with, then it warmed up but the area is in a ponderosa pine forest so there was plenty of shade, and a cool breeze, to keep us comfortable.

Wierd fact: 50 million years ago the area we walked was underneath about a mile of sediment. The Belle Fourche river has washed all that away, exposing the Tower as it went.

Another wierd fact: how uncannily clear one can hear the Tower climbers (there were at least a dozen yesterday) as they talk to one another. Paulette "Eagle Eye" Hardy was the tops for spotting teams on the rock. Must have been a good day for a climb.

After Devil's Tower (and the Prairie Dog town, the _original_ tunnelers dogs) we wandered our seperate days home. Dinner was at Margarita's, the best (and only?) Mexican restaurant in Gillette.

This Friday a small, but mighty group leaves for the 3-day trip to Wyoming to compete in the NADAC Championships, held September 17-21. Leaving on the trek are:

July Night Trial!

The annual night trial was a huge success! Once again our heartfelt thanks go out to all that help out every year with this event. Suz Sullivan, for tirelessly planning and then maintaining the Roadkill Café with help from Priscilla and main grillman Mike. And all who brought special dishes we could munch on. Tom Moloney-Harmon for building every course and all who helped that course building go by without a hitch.

Good friends, good food, great runs! And a NATCH-ful weekend as well. Double-digit NATCHES were the order of the day, we were proud to hand out ribbons for the following:

This one time at an ITZ trial...

It was a fantastic weekend in Woodstown, NJ at the In the Zone 4th of July trial!! The weather was perfect, overcast and cooler than normal most of the weekend with very little actual rain. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun, surrounded by good friends, good food and great runs turned in by all PZ members in attendance.

At one point during course building, Nicole and Paula decided to put on an impromptu Agility version of American Gladiators.

The real excitement was saved for Sunday though, with Paula and Trae NAILING a flawless Jumpers run to finish his NATCH!!

And later that day, in what will henceforth be know as the "shriek run" Paula and Trae kept the crowd in suspense and got the last Tunnelers Q they needed for their Versatility NATCH!! Way to go Team!!

On the same Jumpers run as Trae finishing his NATCH, Mojo and Nicole had a shriek run of their own, but pulled it out and finished his NATCH-5 and Versatility NATCH-5!

The other PZers in attendance put in some fantastic runs as well. Tom and Piper, after attempting some amazing distance all weekend, nailed a Tunnelers Bonus Line Q as the last run of the weekend! Pat and Aja put in some really beautiful runs and Aja also qualified to run at the NADAC Championships in September. These two have looked fantastic after being out for so long. It's great to see them back!

Nicolette and Andy, another comeback team put in some fast and furious runs and as always were great fun to watch. Both Deb Baracco and Jet and Phyllis and Zipper had some amazing runs and also made some sacrifices to keep their criteria. These baby dogs are on the move, look out Elite!!

There was a whole lot of shaking going on at ITZ. Lots of memories made and titles earned. Great job Team PAWZAZZ!

Big achievements in the HEAT at High Octane!!

Big congrats on some big titles earned at the High Octane trial in Doylestown, PA this weekend!! Saturday, eliminating any suspense by nailing her first regular run of the weekend Debi and Chime finished their NATCH-5 ! And to make a nice pair of matching ribbons they got Weavers to finish her Versatility NATCH-4!! You go girls!

Debi was on a roll this weekend, because Garen finished his Novice Triple Superior (a.k.a. "Novice NATCH") on his first regular run today!! Leanne and her auss-ome Mini Aussie Cody also finished their Novice Triple Superior and Novice Superior Versatility on the same run! Cody made his debut in Elite this weekend in Elite Jumpers with a bang, bringing home 2 Qs his first time out. What an amazing team.

Last, but not least. Charlotte and Raven finished their VERY FIRST TITLE today! They earned their NJC with a first place Jumpers Q and a very pretty run it was indeed.

There were many beautiful runs in spite of the punishing heat, and also many good decisions made by people in the interest of their canine partners. All in all, a great weekend at High Octane!

PAWZAZZERS gone PLATINUM!!

Word has it that Nelson Hardy and his speedball Eskie, Hattie have officially earned that last pesky Jumpers to complete their Platinum Speed Star! I believe this was also Hattie's Platinum Versatility Speed Star as well. Way to go guys!!

Not to be outdone, Debi Hutchinson and Josh have earned their THIRD Platinum Speed Star! WOOHOOO team!

For those of you that don't know, a Platinum Speed Star requires 20 Regular, 10 Jumpers and 10 Chances, all of those Q's have to be with a DRI of 100+ (except for Chances, which has no DRI). For the Versatility, you add 10 each of Touch-n-Go, Tunnelers and Weavers. This is no easy feat and it showcases the few teams that possess extreme speed and consistency. We just happen to have at least 4 teams in our club that have earned this award, 3 of them multiple times over. And a few more that are right on the edge of earning it. Great job team PZ!!
